GLOBAL QUALITY ACCREDITATION FOR LUBRICATION COMPANY

Global information suppliers Achilles Information Limited have accepted Harrison Lubrication Engineering (HLE) of Bolton onto their Utilities Database. The Achilles procurement support system pre-qualifies specialist suppliers making their details available to utilities through the UK and internationally via their global network. This forms an important assurance of quality and performance for the utility.

For over 23 years, HLE has been meeting the lubrication needs of utilities. MD, Mike Harrison explained, “If you take water companies as an example, they have 24/7 service obligations. Any breakdown would severely affect their customers and so critical plant, often in remote locations and harsh environments, requires automated lubrication to keep it running between planned maintenance periods. This is where HLE’s expertise is critical.”

HLE has been invited to join the database by United Utilities in recognition of their role in long-term plant maintenance. Many HLE installations are individually engineered to meet customer requirements. The company undertake the entire process from survey and design through manufacture, installation and commissioning to final handover. Maintenance and lubrication supply contracts complete the service profile.
