Meet the Cask Marque beer inspector, the person responsible for policing the quality of traditional, hand pulled real ale in local pubs.

We are inviting journalists to take a crash course in beer appreciation and quality control. Discover first hand what makes the perfect pint and learn exactly how it should be served to the customer.

Cask Marque inspectors visit pubs day in, day out, in pursuit of great beer. Those that make the grade can earn themselves the coveted Cask Marque plaque – those that don’t are offered practical advice to make their beer better.
