You don’t have to go hiking in the Torres del Paine to appreciate the beauty of Chile or take a cable car up Table Mountain to see the stunning scenery of South Africa. Thanks to LINDEMANS – the trusted Australian winemakers - you can now experience the best of both these countries in your own home.

LINDEMANS has been working in partnership with Chilean and South African winemakers introducing a new range of Chilean and South African wines which brings home a taste of these sunnier climes. The new varietals from South Africa include LINDEMANS South Africa Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc, and from Chile, LINDEMANS Chile Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

The new wines reflect their distinct origins; their tastes are influenced by the individual climate, soil and topography to create unique tastes for each region, with both countries hand-picked for their excellent growing conditions and growing popularity with consumers.

Chile
With the heat from the sun, tempered by the breeze from the mountains and sea, Chile has the perfect climes to grow grapes. In fact the growing conditions mean that the majority of Chilean vineyards are virtually organic. From the Chile Cabernet Sauvignon, you can expect a lush, velvety red with a pure style and intense fruit flavours. While the Chile Chardonnay has fresh and vibrant characteristics, think fresh tropical fruit with hints of butter and vanilla. Chilean wines are also some of the best value for money wines on the market without compromising on quality and style.

South Africa
The South African climate makes for a Shiraz which is full bodied and structured. Deep in colour, spices, blackberries and apricot merge for a voluptuous wine which is well balanced and has a sweet touch. The South Africa Sauvignon Blanc, on the other hand, is restrained in style with great structure and a touch of grassiness. Full flavoured and medium bodied this wine has a fresh and zesty finish.
