Love the Breakfast Show but hate getting up? A new phone from Fly Mobile lets you record radio on your phone and listen back whenever you want!

Fly Mobile today announced the launch of its brand new SL600 mobile phone – with a feature that is sure to be a hit with radio lovers across the country. Users will be able to record live radio on the phone’s FM receiver to listen back to at a time of their choice.

In a first for a UK mobile phone, the SL 600 lets users record live radio at the touch of a button or schedule a recording to start at a certain time - just like you would with a video recorder.

A spokesperson for Fly Mobile said: “Lots of phones have had radios but this is the 1st in the UK to let users easily record radio programmes onto their phone memory or memory card. Lovers of the breakfast show can set the phone up to record it safe in the knowledge they'll not miss a moment and can listen whenever they like.”

The SL 600, which is available exclusively from Woolworths on the Vodafone network for only £59.99, also boasts a 2.0 megapixel camera, video recorder, stereo Bluetooth, music player (MP3) all built into a super sharp slider design.

Fly Mobile will ship more than 3 million phones into high growth markets around the world this year , and is now delivering a range of prepay handsets to the UK mobile market – the 1st of which was the SL 500i.

Fly Mobile plans to offer a number of handsets over the next six months – both as operator branded exclusives and Fly Mobile branded devices. Each phone from Fly Mobile will offer at a minimum music player capability, memory card support, quality camera/video camera, Java applications and Bluetooth including A2DP mobile music streaming. The devices will appeal to audiences that wish to enjoy a wealth of mobile features with an easy to use interface, housed in compelling contemporary designs at outstanding value for money.
