Mother turns to osteopathy to help her Children

Sue Playford is a mother of three children and an osteopathic patient. When two of her children were suffering from recurrent illnesses she looked for an alternative to help them get better. She turned to her osteopath, Julia Spivack, a member of the British Osteopathic Association...

Chloe (now aged 7)

At the age of five Chloe started to suffer from recurrent tonsillitis, which took place once a month for eight to ten months. At her husband’s suggestion Sue took Chloe to their local osteopath, Julia. From her first treatment the tonsillitis stopped and it hasn’t returned since. Chloe had regular osteopathic treatments for up to a year.

James (now 2 – born October 2004)

When James was just over a year old he started to suffer from a recurrent ear infection, which occurred at least once a month. After five months Sue decided to take James to see Julia; desperate to stop the pain and the need for antibiotics. As soon as he was treated, James’ ear infections became less frequent before they stopped altogether.
