Avanta under starters orders for star-studded race day

The thoroughbreds of the property industry are lining up to attend the inaugural Avanta Race Day at Kempton Park on 24th September.

The gala event, which will raise funds for the charity SPARKS, was launched at the MIPIM property conference in Cannes in March this year. Avanta has now announced further details for an event which is hoped will become a popular fixture in the property industry’s social calendar.

Avanta is pleased to confirm England rugby legends Martin Bayfield and Jason Leonard as special guests on the day, and further stars are expected to be confirmed soon. The Avanta Race Day has been billed as an afternoon of fast and furious horse racing, champagne, luxury food, star guests and much more.

The event has been arranged on behalf of one the UK’s most deserving charities, SPARKS. Every day specialist doctors are carrying out vital research to improve the health of children in the UK and across the world. SPARKS plays a crucial role in supporting the highest quality medical research for children. Since 1991, SPARKS has funded over 160 medical projects in the UK, committing over 13 million to tackle conditions as diverse as cerebral palsy, meningitis, premature birth, spinal bifida and cancers.

The Avanta Race day consists of six races, all of which can be sponsored by a company, which entitles it to name their own horse. There will also be an opportunity for corporate hospitality in a spectacular glass fronted panoramic restaurant and supporting the charity by bidding in the charity auction.

The event will be hosted by Avanta in association with Kenmore Property Group, the property investment and development group who earlier this year funded a management buyout of Avanta, generating a £100 million expansion programme for the company.
