CarrierNetOnline Wins Transport Industry Oscar

Deltion is proud to announce that CarrierNetOnline (www.carriernet.co.uk), the pay-as-you-go transport management system, has won a Transport Industry Oscar, namely the prestigious award from the Institute of Transport Management (ITM) for the ‘Web Based Transport Management Solution for 2007”. Its customers nominated Deltion for the award.

The ITM citation states, “The web-based service, CarrierNetOnline (CNO), hosted by Deltion, delivers visibility to their customers via the Internet and has been named the Institute of Transport Management’s ‘Web Based Transport Management Solution for 2007’. Best-of-breed software and internet solutions help customers efficiently manage their supply chain and warehousing operations - leading to improved customer service and better overall fleet management.

The citation added that the CNO Software as a Service system was customer-oriented and cutting edge within the market. “Due to its interactive nature it allows the end user more freedom and power to use the service as and when they need”.

CNO has more than 1000 users, processing about three million orders which have a value of more than £ one billion.
