Outin Drinks to Handle Sales and Marketing of Two Major Drinks Brands


Food and drink marketing specialists Outin Consulting have been awarded the sole agency for Orchid Liqueurs and Voyant Chai Liqueur, and have launched Outin Drinks to handle the sales and marketing of these brands.

Orchid Liqueurs are the UK’s first and only range of fresh fruit liqueurs. The vodka-based liqueurs have around 30% real fruit content in each bottle and will be available in 4 flavours at launch - mango, passion fruit, guava and lychee. The brand has already achieved success in Canada and America, with sales of over 375,000 bottles in the twelve months up to July 2006, and Outin Drinks will look to emulate this success in the UK.

Voyant Chai is the 1st and only real tea based cream liqueur available, and is made from rum, premium spirits, fresh Dutch cream, real black tea and a natural blend of spices used to make traditional Indian tea (aka Chai). The brand is one of the fastest growing independent liqueur brands in the USA at the moment, having sold over 120,000 bottles in its first year and available in over 40 states. Chai as a flavour profile is becoming increasing popular, having also made its way onto the menus of many popular coffee chains, and Voyant looks to pioneer this trend in the alcoholic drinks market.

Outin Consulting have teamed up with new creative and web design agency Creative Made to handle design and print of marketing materials on this project. Creative Made have also developed the website for Outin Drinks (www.outindrinks.com) to create the online presence of the brands, as well as allowing online sales. Outin Drinks will initially focus their marketing strategy on below-the-line and sampling activities, following an immensely successful 3 month consumer and trade trial period of both brands. Amongst the highlights will be that both drinks will feature on the up-coming Channel 5 production of ‘Make Me a Supermodel’.
