Food and drink suppliers stuck with excess stock after the Christmas period should worry no longer about wastage, lost profits or stock management issues. Offers4Profits has the answer with the launch of its new ‘No Strings Attached’ promotion.

Offers4Profits, the special offers portal for the food and drink industry, launches its ‘No Strings Attached’ promotion on Wednesday 17 January 2007 enabling companies to sell surplus stock directly to local retail buyers. Unsurprisingly, there are no strings attached to this free offer, which is aimed at boosting brand awareness and supporting local trading in 2007.

Free credits will be allocated on a first-come-first serve basis to the 1st 100 new companies to contact Wendy Baird, director and founder of Offers4Profits.

Baird explains: “We all know that familiar feeling of excess after Christmas, but excess stock can be a real headache. With minimum hassle and maximum profit opportunities, we are giving people the chance to use their free credits to shift that surplus stock after Christmas on the Offers4Profits website”.

Following the immense success of the 1st ‘TL-C’ event in November 2006, which attracted suppliers from around Nottingham city centre, Offers4Profits can officially confirm the next event will take place in Leicester. The unique event will take place for one-day only on March 15, 2007 at the Liquid & Envy nightclub venue between 10am and 4pm.

The Leicester ‘TL-C’ trade event will increase communication along the supply chain from the grass roots. The aim of the event is to make life easier, tastier and healthier for everyone in the Leicester area.

Offers4Profits provides targeted local advertising for food and drink wholesalers and catering suppliers to promote their special offers and surplus stock. The company is so confident that the site, complimented by the ‘TL-C’ events, will bring a return on investment, that companies will return time and time again to check out the latest offers and promote their own stock or produce.

Pitches start at just £60. The low price of the stalls reflects the fact that Offers4profits is not making any profits from this event.

Retailers and buyers are invited to attend the event to discuss opportunities with local suppliers. This is a one-day only trade event so it is essential to act now – don’t delay - join us on 15 March to reduce costs, food miles and wastage.
