Imaje Launch Advanced Autocoding Software at Logistics Link North - Stands 75 and 76

At Logistics Link North, Sep 22-23, Doncaster Racecourse and Exhibition Centre, industry professionals will see for the 1st time, Imaje's AutoCoding software management package designed to eliminate the risk and costs associated with coding errors. Also on stand will be the new Imaje 2000 print and apply system. Other known coding technologies from Imaje will also be operating with scanning equipment from Auto ID specialists, DataScan Systems.

The company will be joining forces with DataScan Systems to recreate a production line environment. This will demonstrate Imaje inkjet and labelling systems working with DataScan's scanning technologies, all linked and operating via AutoCoding to ensure accurate coding and labelling of goods.

Until now, the coding industry has relied on third party vendors for software and IT solutions. Imaje's in-house software solution not only controls coding and scanning equipment but assists in eliminating coding errors by removing the manual operation of coding devices sited on the production floor. In turn, this reduces production line set-up. The AutoCoding software also provides a full audit trail in real time for immediate and essential management information for QA and traceability.

The Imaje 2000 print and apply system range will be launched at the show. A modular design provides the flexibility to meet different labelling requirements using one system by simply swapping component options. For example, a self-configurable printhead makes it possible to convert to any printhead configuration ranging from 200dpi 104mm wide to 300dpi 165mm wide by simply changing the printhead rather than purchasing a new print engine as happens today. Such advantages provide a very simple, easy and cost-effective upgrade path. Other notable features include a quick-change driver roller, built-in web browser and multiple input and output connections that give superior integration possibilities.

Imaje provides coding solutions for every phase of the manufacturing and distribution process. Other products on show will include DataScan's RFiD printer which is based on an Imaje desktop printer and products formerly associated with the Markpoint brand; the Imaje MP6000 pallet labeller and numerous configurations of the Imaje Compact and Nova desktop printers, including the popular Compact Mobile unit.

Visitors will be able to see live demonstrations of the integrated hardware and software systems during daily morning and afternoon presentations on the stand. Staff will be on hand throughout the show to answer visitor questions and advise on systems and software.
