Teleperformance receives ISO/IEC 27001: 2005 certification

Teleperformance today announces it has been certified as compliant to ISO/ IEC 27001: 2005

Teleperformance, the UK arm of the world’s leading provider of intelligent outsourced contact centre solutions, today announces that its Information Security Management System has been certified as compliant against the requirements of ISO/ IEC 270001:2005, covering all of its UK sites and activities. Teleperformance is one of the few companies to have been awarded this certification to the international standard that requires a business to have appropriate safety and security measures covering up to 134 of the control areas which safeguard information and intellectual property assets. Across all areas of business and commerce, there are less than 400 companies in the UK, and only 4,000 worldwide, certified against ISO 27001:2005.

Released in 2005 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets are the principal aspects that this international standard addresses.

The entire audit for this certification was conducted by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance, a renowned international lead provider of certification, assessment and verification services.

This certification is one of many accreditations obtained by Teleperformance who are also certified to ISO 9001: 2000, CCA (Customer Contact Association) accredited and are members of the Direct Marketing Association and are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
