CAPSIS RESORT CRETE - AN EXCLUSIVE VIP RESORT!

During the winter of 2006-7, the Capsis Hotels & Resorts undertook a major project which lasted six months costing a total of 25 million euros. The Capsis Hotels & Convention Centre, in Aghia Pelaghia, 20 minutes from the city of Heraklion, Crete will now be called THE CAPSIS RESORT CRETE! The reason for this major change in the resort is to introduce to the world a new type of upscale & VIP holiday destination in Greece, different from anything else the country has to offer. The new brand identity of the resort will be unveiled in late autumn 2007.

The Capsis Resort Crete now consists of four sections with their own facilities and individual character. All properties are decorated in their own unique style and flair including furniture from the Italian collections of Busnelli and Boffi.

•The Oasis Neighbourhood, a complex of bungalows, bungalow-suites and maisonettes

•The Capsis Palace Hotel a 78-room boutique hotel


•Thalassa Neighbourhood which is a brand new property concept incorporating suites, maisonettes and villas with private pools

•The luxurious Villa Emerald with two bedrooms, three bathrooms, bar & billiards room, fire-place, dining room with kitchen, office, gym area , private Hamam and butler service

•The All-suite hotel, an exclusive enclave of plush suites, maisonettes & villas with private Jacuzzi or pool, lobby, restaurants, bar, spa and private beach

•The Black Pearl Villa a 510 sq m with private indoor and outdoor pools, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, bar & billiards room, fire-place , dining room with kitchen, office, home cinema room, gym room with private Hamam, butler service, facilities and services for disabled guests, private pool sea decks.

For the entertainment of our little friends, the Minoan Amusement Park is an exclusive and private club for children from 4 to 14 of age and open to the public as well. Inspired by the famous Ancient Minoan sites of Knossos, Phaistos and Malia in Crete, this historical amusement park is built on 4.000 sq.m and is the only Minoan Mythological Park in Greece and the only amusement park in the country located in a hotel complex. The main idea is for children to enjoy themselves through a variety of games, activities and sports and at the same time learn the history and mythology of Ancient Greece and the Minoan Civilization
