LanguageFlow Ltd launches the REVFLOW/EBROCHURE product combination to help International companies manage their Carbon Footprint

London, Thursday June 7th 2007 – LanguageFlow Ltd, a UK based Marketing Communications Localisation Specialist has developed and launched ‘REVFLOW’ an all new software toolset to make the update of multilingual marketing materials a simple and cost effective process. But that’s not all, they’ve also introduced a highly cost effective digital publications service using ‘FLEXIPAGE’ technology to help companies reduce their international carbon footprint.
Paul Hutchings, MD explains that using ‘REVFLOW’ has saved clients up to 30% against their current marketing communications localisation costs. “Our AutoDTP (Desktop Publishing) import/export tools allow marketers to make fast and accurate updates to their marketing materials without the need for DTP software or Adobe Acrobat. Combine that with the ‘Flexipage’ digital brochure and delivery to your core market via e-mail and the web and you’ve got a winning combination.”

LanguageFlow have found that when used as part of international marketing tactics, the Flexipage e-catalogues allow marketers to get to market fast by pre-releasing marketing communications on their website and communicating to their in-house e-mail lists. This allows marketers to perform effective multivariate testing, and then release an optimised version within a matter of days, following it up with smaller targeted print runs. The reduction of printed material and postage/shipping can only help companies to show a reduced carbon footprint.

One of the challenges with the localisation of marketing materials is the number of amends that typically have to take place once foreign copy has been inserted into a design document. This often involves hours of marking up an Adobe Acrobat file, or even worse, sending faxes or emails from client to agency. The margin for error is huge, and this can result in delayed launches and frustration at the country and agency level. REVFLOW removes the problem by serving a simple word file of the content to the marketer with all of the changes to the document clearly marked up. A PDF file accompanies the word file to ensure that the marketer can see everything in context to the design of the piece.
